Contemporary Terracotta: From Philadelphia to Villa Tacchi with Love
Steven and Jessica traveled all the way from Philadelphia with their 50 closest guests to experience an authentic and sophisticated Italian getaway. Their journey began in the charming historic town of Bassano del Grappa—which the guests absolutely adored and where the pre-wedding festivities took place—before culminating in the timeless magnificence of Villa Tacchi in Vicenza for the wedding day.
For the main celebration, the design vision centered around the warm, earthy, and enveloping shades of terracotta, translated into a highly contemporary aesthetic. However, the true hallmark of this project lay in its bespoke personalization. Since their beloved dog could not make the trip to Italy, we thoughtfully integrated him into the day by featuring custom hand-drawn illustrations within an exclusive, handmade stationery suite. An intimate destination wedding meticulously crafted in every single detail, seamlessly blending Venetian architectural glamour with unique, soulful touches that truly spoke of the couple’s story.

Professionalism– From day 1, Claudia was exceedingly professional. She never took long to respond to a question and no question was too small. She sourced and coordinated with vendors on our behalf, including venue, catering, hotels, transportation, photo/video, etc. There was a light concierge service offered to guests to help them book the hotel and transport. Every vendor she recommended was wonderful and she offered her professional opinion whenever asked.
Style and design– One reason we chose Claudia was because of the vibes/style of her weddings. I attached some of our photos here. Claudia listened to our requests and recommended vendors to help fulfill our vision, along with offering her own design expertise. This included having custom illustrations of our dog on the stationary, fulfilling our floral inspiration, finding a venue with a lot of greenery, etc.
Day of coordination– We didn’t have to deal with a single thing on our wedding day! It rained on our wedding day so we had to use our Plan B, but Claudia made it so seamless. It was so lovely we didn’t even miss the Plan A.
